MGTrace — Cookie Policy
Last updated: 11 September 2026
This Cookie Policy explains the cookies and similar storage used by the MGTrace platform, operated by ERIN AUTOMATION, S.L. (CIF B-25925611), Avinguda Can Serra, 3, Esc. B, 3º 3ª, 08390 Montgat (Barcelona), Spain. MGTrace uses only strictly necessary cookies and one functional cookie you set yourself — the ones required to log you in, keep the Service secure and honour a choice you make. We do not use analytics, advertising or third-party tracking cookies, and no third party sets cookies through our site. Because these cookies are exempt from consent under the ePrivacy rules (Art. 22.2 LSSI-CE and the Spanish supervisory authority's cookie guidance), no consent banner is shown; we list them here for transparency.
Cookies we use
| Cookie | Purpose | Type | Duration |
|---|---|---|---|
sb-<project>-auth-token (and .0 / .1 chunks) |
Keeps you signed in (authentication session issued by our auth provider, Supabase) | Strictly necessary | Until the session expires or you sign out |
mg_last_activity |
Signed time stamp of your last request, used to sign you out after 15 minutes of inactivity (EU Annex 11 §12.1). It contains no identifier, only a time and a signature | Strictly necessary | 30 days (renewed on every request; cleared on time-out) |
mg_trusted_device |
Set only if you tick "Remember this browser" after entering your second-factor code. Lets that browser skip the code until the date your organization allows (at most 90 days). You can forget a browser at any time under Settings → Security | Functional, at your request | Up to 90 days, as set by your organization; removed when you forget the browser |
Local storage (no cookie)
The application also keeps two items in your browser's local storage, which never leave your device and are not read by us:
- a flag that hides the "getting started" checklist once you dismiss it;
- a temporary buffer of loop-check results entered while offline, deleted as soon as they are synchronised.
What we do not do
We do not use cookies or local storage for advertising, cross-site tracking or third-party analytics, and we load no third-party fonts at run time. Visits to the website and page performance are measured with Vercel Web Analytics and Vercel Speed Insights, which are cookieless: their script is served from mgtrace.com, nothing is stored on your device, no advertising identifier is used, your raw IP address is not kept, and one visit is told from another by a hash that Vercel discards every day. Product usage inside the Service is measured server-side for signed-in users only, without advertising identifiers and without storing your raw IP address (see the Privacy Policy, section 2 d).
Managing cookies
Because the first two cookies are essential, disabling them in your browser will prevent you from signing in and using the Service. You can delete cookies at any time through your browser settings, and forget a remembered browser from Settings → Security.
Changes
If we ever introduce non-essential cookies (for example, product analytics or embedded media), we will update this Policy and request your consent before setting them.
